Who Can Witness a Will?
At a recent seminar held on will writing in Southampton, we were asked about who can act as a witness when you write a will.
When you write your will, you must sign your will in front of two or more witnesses. Your witnesses must see you sign your will but do not need to see the contents of your will.
It is very important that the witnesses must not be beneficiaries, potential beneficiaries or partner of beneficiaries of your estate.
